Full Job Description

CAD/Revit Layout Draftsman & Inside Sales Estimator

Atlas Sales Company is a Supplier of Scaffolding and Forming products to Hawaii and the Pacific Basin as well as a Licensed Scaffold Contractor. We are looking for Cad Drafter to join our Sales team in our Kapolei office.

Position Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled and commercially aware CAD/Revit Operator to integrate directly with our Inside Sales and Estimation team. In this role, you will read structural blueprints and navigate complex client 3D models to design safe, efficient scaffolding, concrete forming, and structural shoring layouts. You will act as the technical bridge, turning engineering requirements into accurate client price quotes and material pick-lists.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Layouts: Utilize Revit to link, review, and extract structural profiles from client building models. Use AutoCAD to generate detailed 2D/3D temporary structure layouts and staging plans.
Material Takeoffs: Perform precise component counts from layouts to create quantitative equipment bills of materials (e.g., frames, shores, clamps, and braces) for active sales quotes.
Sales Collaboration: Partner with the Inside Sales team to quickly modify layout drawings and equipment counts as contractors request scope and timeline adjustments.
Clash & Safety Verification: Analyze building elevations, ground conditions, and interference points within Revit models to catch loading or space conflicts before finalized proposals are sent.
Asset Library Maintenance: Manage and update the company’s internal library of Revit families and AutoCAD dynamic blocks for proprietary scaffolding and shoring systems.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of drafting, modeling, or layout experience. Prior experience with scaffolding, shoring, concrete forming, or building materials is highly preferred.
Software Mastery: High proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and Autodesk Revit (3D modeling, family handling, and sheet creation).
Blueprint Literacy: Outstanding ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference industrial site plans, concrete profiles, and structural drawings.
Commercial Mindset: Strong organizational and communication skills needed to handle fast-turnaround requests in a sales-driven environment.

· Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with customers and coworkers through clear proposals, drawings, and other documents.

· Must maintain good attendance

Job Type: Full-time

· Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour—Depending on Experience
