Full Job Description

Overview

This position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals seeking to grow their career in healthcare administration while making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. We value your dedication to providing outstanding service and supporting the smooth operation of our clinic.

Duties

Greet patients upon arrival. Customer service is the NUMBER 1 priority.
Check in patients and update patient information as needed. Scan forms and waivers into the patient’s record and attach the patient’s photo and appropriate flags. Track the patient’s location.
Collect copays, balances, and post to the patient’s account.
Set up payment plans as needed, based on protocol.
Schedule appointments. Complete full registration when scheduling new patients.
Do a preliminary balancing at 4:00PM to correct any errors before leaving for the day.
Make sure adequate change is in drawer at all times and let Office Manager know if change is needed.
Provide phone operator coverage as needed, including during lunch breaks and when the Phone Operator is out, ensuring timely handling of incoming calls, accurate documentation, and appropriate routing or scheduling.
Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the Company's management team.

Requirements

Highschool diploma or GED required
3+ years of relevant experience required
Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients.
Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.
Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period.
