About Us

Embellish Nails & Boutique is Austin's original upscale natural nail salon. Founded in 2008, we emphasize quality nail care in a stylish and safe environment. Our boutique offers our busy customers one-stop shopping for women's apparel & gifts featuring beloved brands like Kendra Scott jewelry, El Arroyo gifts, and Capri Blue candles.

We're looking for an experienced Front Desk Manager for our Embellish location in Westlake (3663 Bee Cave Rd, Austin, TX 78746).

Embellish Nails & Boutique is hiring for a Store Manager at our Westlake location.

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and highly organized individual to be the welcoming face and operational backbone of our luxury salon. This role is crucial in delivering a seamless, sanitary, and five-star experience for every client while maximizing the productivity of our talented nail technicians and leading a strong, cohesive team.

Requirements:

Previous salon management experience required
Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
Strong, verifiable references
Experience with Meevo software is a major plus

Key Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of this position is to:

1. Elevate the Customer Experience
Provide a warm, professional, and efficient check-in/check-out process, manage all client communications, drive retail sales, and ensure thoughtful touches such as offering warm neck wraps to enhance the client experience.

2. Ensure Operational Excellence & Hygiene
Maintain the salon’s high aesthetic standards and strict cleanliness protocols.

3. Lead & Support the Team
Motivate, guide, and support front desk staff and nail technicians to ensure a positive work environment, strong communication, and consistent service standards.

Essential Responsibilities

Client Experience & Sales

Greet all clients warmly and professionally
Offer refreshments and warm neck wraps to enhance the guest experience
Manage wait times accurately
Manage appointments (in-person, phone, and online bookings)
Confirm appointments and handle cancellations/reschedules efficiently
Process all payments (cash, credit card, gift cards)
Balance and reconcile the register at the end of each shift

Salon Hygiene & Maintenance

Ensure reception, retail areas, restrooms, and waiting areas are consistently clean and organized
Monitor inventory and communicate low stock levels
Process incoming boutique merchandise and ensure items are properly displayed

Administrative & Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and support team members to maintain high performance and morale
Address day-to-day operational challenges and resolve issues professionally
Answer phones and assist with client inquiries
Communicate clearly between clients and technicians
Manage client profiles and ensure information is kept accurate and up to date
Communicate regularly with the General Manager, including weekly updates on operations, staffing, and performance
Train and onboard new team members to ensure consistency in service, systems, and salon standards

COMPENSATION:

Competitive hourly wage of $21 and up based on experience
