Full Job Description

Job Summary

Metropolitan Steak & Seafood is seeking a skilled, dependable Kitchen Manager to join our team in a hands-on leadership role. This is a salaried position with quarterly performance bonuses and paid vacation, ideal for an experienced cook who’s ready to take on more responsibility while continuing to sharpen their craft.

As one of Amarillo’s top restaurants, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and thrives in a clean, focused, and fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support BOH staff during prep and service
Cook across all stations as needed
Manage BOH labor and help minimize overtime
Assist with food prep, quality control, and daily execution
Perform grocery store runs to source needed items

Requirements

3+ years of professional kitchen experience required
Well-rounded knowledge of kitchen operations and stations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Clean, punctual, and professional at all times
Eager to grow and work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef
