Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as an Order Picker/Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment while safely operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Your expertise in warehouse management systems and materials handling will ensure efficient order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and dedication to maintaining high standards of quality control in a vibrant warehouse environment.

Duties

Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
Use scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders
Perform order picking and packing with precision to meet shipping deadlines and quality standards
Stock shelves efficiently by loading and unloading incoming shipments, ensuring proper placement for easy access
Conduct quality control checks on materials and finished orders to maintain accuracy and product integrity
Assist with shipping & receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and maintaining detailed logs
Support warehouse distribution tasks including packaging, labeling, and preparing items for shipment

Skills

Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues quickly
Excellent materials handling skills with a focus on safety during heavy lifting and load/unload operations
Experience in warehouse supervision or coordinating team activities is a plus
Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment processes, and quality control standards
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols
