Job Overview

Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
Maintain inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate needs for restocking
Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary settings is highly preferred
Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required
