Full Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a dependable, organized, and experienced oral surgery office manager / biller to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy specialty practice. This is an important leadership role for someone who takes initiative, works efficiently and can confidently manage responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver who can keep the office running smoothly, support the clinical team, and ensure that administrative processes are handled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities : The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include :

Oversee daily office operations and ensure the practice runs smoothly
Ability to multitask
Schedule appointments
Answer phones and confirm appointments
Greet and check in patients
Assist with or explain treatment plans
Collaborate with referring dentist
Collect payments, co-payments and deductibles
Verify pre-authorization approvals
Maintain accurate and confidential patient and financial information
Identify problems and resolve issues independently and efficiently
Provide leadership, organization, and support to office staff
Communicate professionally with patients, staff, physicians, insurance companies, and outside vendors
Ensure office policies and procedures are followed
Assist with other administrative duties as needed
Provide exceptional customer service at all times
Work as part of a team with other staff members with emphasis on communication
Follow all end of the day procedures

Qualifications

Agree/ complete BACKGROUND CHECK
Excellent COMMUNICATION/CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS
Experience of 2 YEARS MINIMUM IN A DENTAL/MEDICAL FACILITY
Ability to work Independently
Must be reliable for scheduled work hours and on time/ prepared
Hourly pay based on experience
NO Evenings or Weekends
