Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining high culinary standards, and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Job Duties:

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and restaurant standards (e.g., pasta dishes, sauces, antipasti, risottos, meats, seafood, etc.)
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all sanitation and food safety guidelines
Assist with food prep and batch cooking as directed by the Head Chef
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service
Monitor food quality and freshness; report any issues to kitchen management
Assist in receiving and properly storing food deliveries
Follow portion control standards and minimize food waste

Work Remotely:

Requirements:

Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in a professional kitchen; Italian cuisine experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Culinary school training is a plus but not required

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
