Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Warehouse Assistant to help with all aspects of warehouse operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of supply chain management, expertise in logistics, inventory control, and process improvement. This role is vital in ensuring efficient warehouse functions, optimizing inventory accuracy, and supporting overall business growth through effective management of resources, personnel, and systems. We are a fast paced and growing Commercial HVAC company seeking the right person with strong HVAC knowledge.

Duties

Assist with daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and delivery of appropriate needed materials to site.
Load deliveries to move from warehouse to the jobsite
Deliver to jobsites
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse staff.
Assist shipping & receiving processes ensuring accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of quality control.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with supply chain best practices such as process standardization and lean principles.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse environment within a logistics or supply chain environment.
Extensive understanding of inventory management, procurement, shipping & receiving.
Experience with HVAC Equipment & Materials.
Familiarity with transportation planning, fleet management, demand planning, production planning, and materials management.
Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to analyze data for supply chain optimization.
Strong communication skills for coordinating across departments including procurement, logistics providers, and internal teams. This role offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a dynamic warehouse team while contributing significantly to the company's supply chain success through innovative practices and strategic oversight.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
