We are a growing, family-owned law firm seeking an experienced Legal Assistant who is organized, proactive, and takes genuine pride in helping clients through important moments in their lives and businesses.

What You'll Do

Support attorneys in a variety of legal matters from intake through resolution.
Draft, proofread, and prepare correspondence, pleadings, contracts, closing documents, estate planning documents, and other legal filings.
Manage calendars, deadlines, court dates, hearings, and appointments.
Coordinate electronic court filings and maintain compliance with procedural deadlines.
Maintain organized electronic case files and document management systems.
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, title companies, lenders, opposing counsel, and other professionals.
Assist with real estate transactions, litigation support, probate matters, business matters, and other firm practice areas.
Prepare new client files, engagement documents, and assist with client intake.
Help ensure the office operates efficiently by anticipating needs and following projects through to completion.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience as a legal assistant in a law firm.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Professional, dependable, and client-focused.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with attorneys and staff.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with legal practice management software is a plus.
