Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements unless otherwise noted:

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and write in English and demonstrate strong mathematical skills.
Candidates may be required to complete testing in relevant skill areas.
Additional coursework or seminars related to building maintenance preferred.
Basic knowledge and experience in:
- Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, masonry.
- Window replacement and general building repairs.
- Boiler and heating systems.
- Swimming pool maintenance and operations.
Ability to operate and maintain various types of tractors, trucks, and related equipment.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment (both electric and gas-powered).
Capable of maintaining accurate records and inventory of materials, parts, and supplies.
Must meet all other job qualifications as adopted and published by Monroe Public Schools.
Must have a valid driver's license.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $20.79 per hour as per contract.
Additional Pay: An extra $0.75 per hour for employees required to obtain and maintain special licenses or certifications necessary for their duties.
