Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Part-Time Showroom Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our showroom, providing exceptional service and expert guidance to clients exploring high-end lighting, interior design, and renovation solutions. Your enthusiasm for sales combined with your technical knowledge will help customers bring their visions to life. You will actively engage with clients, understand their needs, and deliver tailored product recommendations while ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your sales expertise in a vibrant retail environment dedicated to quality and innovation.

This is a Part-Time position (Max 29hrs and Saturday's are required)

Duties

Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
Demonstrate product features and benefits, including lighting design, layout options, and renovation solutions
Assist clients with inside and outside sales activities, including product demos and upselling premium options
Utilize CAD or SketchUp to help clients visualize layout designs and lighting arrangements for their spaces
Negotiate pricing, terms, and additional services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
Manage POS (Point of Sale) transactions accurately, handle cashing out, and process payments efficiently
Maintain organized stock displays, merchandise products attractively, and ensure showroom cleanliness and readiness

Experience

Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in high-end or specialty products such as lighting or interior design materials
Strong background in outside sales or account management with a focus on building long-term customer relationships
Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, or lighting design tools is highly desirable
Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell effectively without pressure
Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases
Knowledge of remodeling, renovation projects, construction processes, or interior design enhances your ability to serve clients effectively
Exceptional communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
Organizational skills to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously while providing outstanding customer service
