Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Staff role to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with substance use disorders in a residential setting. The current shift we are hiring for is swing shift (2-10pm) and graveyard (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am)

Duties

MedPass and PRN medication management through our EHR software at scheduled times and as needed. (CNA a plus!)
Perform bed checks to monitor clients throughout the night, ensuring client safety (dependent upon shift hours).
Support individuals in crisis situations, demonstrating calmness and empathy.
Provide structure and support to residents, fostering a positive living atmosphere.
Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Participate in training sessions related to HIPAA Compliance, crisis response, and best practices for working with individuals with SUD.

Requirements

Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders is preferred.
Ability to assist residents with 12-step work, healthy coping mechanisms, and emotional support as needed.
Knowledge of first aid procedures and vital sign monitoring is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and age 25 or older is required for transportation responsibilities (day or evening shifts).
CPR/First aid certification is required upon hire.
Experience working with EHR software is preferred.
A compassionate attitude towards helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
A minimum of one year of continuous sobriety is required.
A background check through the Division of Licensing and Background Checks will be performed.
Abstinence program - This role requires you pass a drug screen. Eos does not support the use of MAT (medically assisted treatment) or medical marijuana for clients or employees. All applicants must comply with these rules.
Overnight shifts - These shifts require the ability to stay awake and perform job duties. This is not a sleep shift. Shift differential applied to this shift.
