Auction Clerk – Triangle Liquidators

Who We Are
At Triangle Liquidators, we operate high-volume online auctions that connect returned and overstock inventory with value-conscious buyers. Accuracy, speed, and transparency are the cornerstones of our auction platform—and none of it works without a strong processing team behind the scenes. That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for Auction Clerks to help us build detailed, honest, and organized product listings that give our bidders the confidence to buy. If you have a great eye for detail, enjoy working with a wide variety of products, and want to play a key role in a fast-moving business, we’d love to have you on our team.

Your Role on the Team
As an Auction Clerk, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, scanning, and categorizing incoming inventory to prepare it for auction. Your work directly influences the quality of the customer experience by ensuring our listings are accurate, well-photographed, and easy to understand. This position is less about heavy lifting and more about thoughtful processing, attention to detail, and consistency.

Core Responsibilities

Cataloging & Data Entry

Unbox and examine individual items as they arrive from incoming inventory
Identify product types, condition, and missing parts
Create clear and concise product titles and descriptions for auction listings
Use software tools and handheld devices to input product data into our system

Photography & Visual Accuracy

Take clean, accurate photographs of each item for our website
Ensure photos clearly reflect the condition, completeness, and size of the item
Stage items properly for consistency and professionalism across listings

Auction Readiness

Ensure products are fully scanned, tagged, and ready for upload
Maintain consistent pace without sacrificing accuracy or quality
Communicate with leads or supervisors if issues arise with product integrity or categorization

Teamwork & Organization

Maintain a clean and efficient workspace
Collaborate with other Auction Clerks and team members to hit daily listing goals
Contribute to a positive and productive team environment

What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience

Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies or missing components
Comfort using warehouse tech like scanners, tablets, or handhelds
Basic computer and typing skills
Prior warehouse, auction, or e-commerce experience preferred
Reliable, self-driven, and good at managing your own pace
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move for most of your shift
Occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.)
Working in non-climate-controlled warehouse settings
Comfort sorting through a wide range of product types (from power tools to patio furniture)
