Full Job Description

Our thriving medical practice needs an experienced Medical Front Office Associate who is capable of coordinating patient and physician schedules. This candidate must also be able to manage all of our patients visiting the office in a welcoming manner. We’re looking for a professional that believes patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and who understands the value of compassionate care.

Our medical practice has 2 Satellite offices. Candidate must be able to travel between all offices 3 offices. Candidate must be able to speak Spanish. This is a Full-Time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Must be able to speak Spanish

Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and other necessary data.
Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs yourself
Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents
Communicate effectively with patients
Direct patients to their designated areas
Check out patients after visit with Physician
Collect patient co-payments & patient account balance
Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on Physician availability.
Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
Update patient demographics
Verify patient insurance
Communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies and other medical offices
Ability to work with Electronic Medical Records EMR - Candidates with NextGen experience encouraged to apply.
Ability to work well with others
Ability to multi-task
Must be able to work in a Fast Paced environment
