Full Job Description

GEOTECHNICAL / CIVIL ENGINEER

DRGeoES, LLC is seeking an experienced Geotechnical / Civil Engineer to manage moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong internal and external client relationships through project and non-project-related meetings.
Lead and mentor technical and project teams.
Prepare proposals for moderate to complex projects.
Develop comprehensive engineering reports that provide professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions.
Perform engineering analyses using company and industry methodologies and standards.
Provide guidance, training, and work direction to junior engineering staff.
Create, manage, and communicate project budgets.
Successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Support business development initiatives and foster long-term client relationships.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering field.
Minimum of seven (3-4) years of geotechnical engineering experience within a professional consulting environment, with demonstrated project experience and defined roles.
Proven experience in project management, client relationship management, and business development.
Experience leading and providing direction to junior engineers and technical staff.
Valid driver's license required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana, or the ability to obtain licensure within six (6) months of hire.
