Full Job Description

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, has an opening for an experienced Receptionist/Administrative Assistant for our St. Louis office. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and able to manage busy attorneys, and work well independently.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks, including entering billable attorney time into the company system and correspondence with the administration on new matters to the firm.
Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication.
Must possess interpersonal and exceptional customer service.
Basic understanding of administrative/clerical procedures and systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software is a must.
Document Management System (DMS) experience (iManage) preferred.

Compensation: $30.22 per hour (based on a 35-hour work week)
