Estimator

Role & Responsibilities

Analyzing project plans, specifications, and documents to determine project requirements.
Estimating the costs of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for construction projects.
Performing quantity takeoffs and calculating the quantities of materials needed.
Liaising with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and obtain quotes.
Conducting cost analysis and exploring cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
Preparing comprehensive and competitive bids or proposals for construction projects.
Tracking and monitoring project costs against the estimated budget.
Maintaining accurate records of estimates, cost data, and project documentation.
Collaborating with project managers and accounting teams for budget management.
Staying up-to-date with construction industry trends, building codes, and pricing fluctuations.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Associates Degree in Construction Management/ Related Field or 3 Years’ Experience Preferred.
