We specialize in supporting adult individuals with developmental disabilities and those with a forensic background, providing comprehensive day programs designed around each person's unique needs and goals

Job Description:

The Case Manager is responsible for overseeing their clinical case load at ETHOS Therapeutics. This role is responsible for overseeing and providing support in clinical aspects of the cases they oversee. This includes but is not limited to report writing, data tabulation, goal creation/implementation, implementation, data tracking, quality assurance, coverage for Field Supervisors, training staff, attending meetings, tracking/documenting billable hours and other clinical functions. The Case Manager must be comfortable with the both the administrative aspects of the job as well as working with individuals directly. The Case Manager must have knowledge of developmental disabilities, intervention techniques and crises prevention. Applicants must also be comfortable working with individuals that have developmental disabilities in conjunction with forensic (i.e. criminal record) and psychiatric complications that may lead to aggressive or difficult behavior.

ETHOS Therapeutics takes a team approach to providing the most rigorous and thorough services possible. As such, Case Managers must be team oriented and comfotrable collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

This position takes place in a mixture of settings. While the role will primarily be fulfilled in an office setting it will also require trips into the community or homes of the individuals we work with. Case Managers will also be trained on how to drive a 12-person van in cases of emergencies.

It is preferred that the Case Manager be a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician. Case Managers may also be one of the following licensed or credentialed positions: Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Chemical Addiction Counselor, Speech Therapist/Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Psychologist. This position will also require the applicant to be in good health and physically capable of completing an extensive crises and prevention integration training, including advance physical skills. Applicants must possess a strong knowledge of developmental disabilities and behavioral techniques.

· Ensure safety of clients and maintain quality of clinical interventions.

· Assist and report to the Regional Clinical Manager or Clinical Supervisor regarding their caseload and any other concerns or responsibilities.

· Provides supplemental support to executive, administrative and managerial staff and take over the roles and responsibilities as assigned or delegated.

· Maintaining and ensuring accuracy of files collected or stored from your cases.

o Maintaining the client’s digital file (e.g. reports, SIRs, medical records, etc.)

o Proper naming of electronic files

· Communicating with client guardians/caregivers and other support staff from other agencies.

· Report writing and monthly summaries. Including timely submission for review to the Regional Clinical Manager.

· Collaborating with other ETHOS clinicians to ensure all therapeutics reports and summaries are included in quarterly reports.

· Monthly review of staff notes and data. Providing feedback, training and corrections as needed.

· Monthly data tabulation for reports.

· Attend all regional monthly in-services/training.

· Responsible for providing feedback to the Regional Program Manager and Regional Clinical Manager regarding staff operations.

· Accurate and timely reporting of clinical concerns, issues or discrepancies within the region to the Regional Clinical Director.

· Assist Field Supervisors when needing supplemental support or covering Field Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities when they are absent or need coverage.

· Cover any staff absences including but not limited to: Clinical/Field Supervisors and Integration Specialists (1:1).

· Keep executive staff, managerial staff and fellow supervisors informed of daily operation and any pertinent information.

· Writing and reviewing special incident reports as needed or required by company policy, local/state/federal law.

· Assisting as needed with client crises and emergencies. (e.g. accompanying the individual to the hospital, waiting for a delayed parent/caregiver pickup, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

· Licensure as LVN or LPT

· Ability to pass a DOJ, FBI and driving history background check (must be free from any misdemeanor or felony convictions and any serious/frequent traffic violations)

· Ability to follow mandated reporting requirements.

· Negative TB Test

· Ability to drive company vehicles including Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans and similar vehicles that may include wheelchair vehicles and other large transportation vehicles.

· The ability to work outside in possible heat, cold, rain and other weather conditions or engage in physical activities when accompanying or covering staff.

· Knowledge of clinical interventions and data recording.

· Knowledge of developmental disabilities.

· Meet regional center vendor requirements: no criminal or serious traffic violations, pass a TB test, receive and abide by CPR/1st aid, HIPAA, Bloodborne pathogens, crises prevention and mandated reporting trainings.

· Safe and reliable form of transportation for pick-up and drop-off of clients.

Preferred Qualifications

· BCBA, LCSW, LMFT, SLP, OT, PT, and/or a master’s degree, or greater, in a related field.

· 2+ years of experience of case management experience.

· 2+ years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.

· Formal training and knowledge of developmental disabilities and current and acceptable practices.

· Formal training and knowledge of mental health and current and acceptable practices.

· Experience providing rehabilitation services to individuals who were previously incarcerated.

· Crises Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training or de-escalation equivalent training.

Hours

· Office Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

· Must work in person daily - Remote not available

· The position is salaried and subject to calls and work outside of the hours listed above
