Job Title: Janitor
Location: Sulphur, Oklahoma 73086
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:00 pm (some weekends)
Pay: $13.47/hour
Job Overview
As a Janitor, you help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors by keeping campus spaces sanitary, organized, and ready for daily use. This role is hands-on and active, supporting the day-to-day operations of classrooms, hallways, offices, common areas, and other facilities through consistent cleaning, restocking, and upkeep.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow directions, take feedback, and complete assigned tasks reliably.
- Strong dependability, punctuality, and clear communication skills.
- Willingness to complete a drug screen and background check requirements.
- Comfort working in environments with direct or indirect interaction with minors.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies and trash throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities as needed.
- Willingness to learn and use basic ASL communication as needed on campus.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain clean and safe walking surfaces.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize receptacles and dispose of trash properly.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities to maintain hygiene standards.
- Restock disposables and supplies in restrooms and other designated areas.
- Maintain buildings and surrounding areas in clean and orderly condition.
- Follow site procedures for access/badging and workplace expectations.
