COLORADO PARKS AND WILDLIFE (CPW)

GATE ATTENDANT: $17.00/HOUR: A customer service based position that involves greeting visitors, selling parks passes, answering phones, counting cash receipts, and providing information to the public. Daily interaction with park visitors requires effective communication and public relations skills. Work leader responsibilities over entrance attendants. VISITOR SERVICES $17.00/HOUR: A customer service based position that involves working in a visitor center or gate entrance, greeting visitors, or may be assigned to work in the field in specialized duties as some parks. Daily interaction with park visitors requires effective communication and public relations skills.

OFFICE AID $17.00/HOUR: This position is a customer service position that sells a variety of state park passes, hunting and fishing licenses, and other CPW products and retail items. This position is a main line of contact for all visitors and responds to telephone inquiries as well as questions regarding hunting, fishing and park use regulations, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) in general.

PARK MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN $17.00-19.00 /HOUR: Responsible for all general park maintenance and cleaning of public facilities including: restrooms, vault toilets, picnic areas, day use sites, trails, etc. Operates and performs routine maintenance on State owned vehicles and equipment. Provides and ensures quality customer service and facility maintenance, repair and cleanliness and provides information and assistance to visitors. May also assist with carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, general landscape duties and transporting materials and supplies and performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials. Lifting 50lbs, Possibly standing for 4 hours straight on overly busy days
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
