Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager specializing in Multifamily Housing to lead procurement operations and optimize supply chain processes.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services essential for multifamily residential projects. Your expertise will drive cost efficiencies, enhance inventory management, and support the successful delivery of housing developments.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to multifamily housing projects, ensuring the best value and quality from suppliers.
Manage procurement processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, including purchase order creation, tracking, and approval workflows.
Lead contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service agreements.
Oversee supply chain activities including logistics, inventory control, and vendor management to maintain seamless operations.
Collaborate with project teams to forecast material needs using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Monitor supplier performance through regular evaluations, addressing issues proactively to uphold quality standards.
Maintain comprehensive procurement records, contracts, and compliance documentation in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in procurement management within the multifamily housing or construction industry.
Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS for procurement and supply chain operations.
Extensive knowledge of sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and vendor management practices.
Familiarity with MRP systems, inventory management techniques, and logistics coordination.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
Ability to analyze pricing trends and develop cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
