We're looking for an On-site Safety Professional who will become a trusted member of our client's team while remaining an integral part of the SevenGen family.

We're looking for a Senior Industrial Hygiene Project Manager, a CIH, who is passionate about protecting worker health while leading projects, developing people, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
In this role, you'll combine technical expertise with project leadership to guide complex industrial hygiene projects from kickoff through final deliverables. You'll partner with clients to solve challenging workplace health issues, ensure projects are delivered on scope, on budget, and on time through SevenGen's Proven Process, and help build long-term relationships founded on trust and exceptional service.
As a senior leader within our Industrial Hygiene practice, you'll also play an important role in developing others. You'll coach and mentor a small team of Project Managers and Industrial Hygiene Consultants, helping them grow their technical capabilities, strengthen their consulting skills, and build confidence in leading successful projects. Your leadership will help shape both our team's success and the experience we deliver to every client.

Who You'll Work With
You'll work alongside a collaborative team of Industrial Hygienists, Project Managers, Account Managers, and technical leaders who are committed to helping one another succeed.
You'll partner closely with clients throughout every stage of the project lifecycle while collaborating internally with Business Development, Operations, Talent, and fellow technical experts to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Depending on business needs, you may directly lead a small team of Project Managers and Industrial Hygiene Consultants, providing coaching, performance feedback, technical guidance, and career development support. You'll also work closely with the Director of Industrial Hygiene to strengthen our consulting practice, develop future leaders, and continuously improve how we serve our clients.
You'll have the autonomy to lead while always having the support of a collaborative team behind you.
What You'll Do:
As a Senior Industrial Hygiene Project Manager, you'll lead projects from proposal through final deliverables while helping your team and clients succeed every step of the way.
You'll:
- Lead complex industrial hygiene projects through SevenGen's Proven Process, ensuring projects remain on scope, on budget, and on schedule.
- Plan and perform industrial hygiene assessments involving chemical, physical, and biological hazards across a variety of manufacturing environments.
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, technical expertise, and exceptional service.
- Prepare clear, concise technical reports that translate complex exposure data into practical, actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Project Managers, and technical teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Project Managers and Industrial Hygiene Consultants by providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance coaching.
- Foster accountability by helping your team remove roadblocks, follow SevenGen's Proven Process, and consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Identify opportunities to improve project quality, strengthen consulting processes, and elevate the client experience.
- Represent the SevenGen brand through professionalism, technical excellence, leadership, and a genuine commitment to protecting people and the environment.

First 30 Days
- Get to know your teammates, clients, and the SevenGen Proven Process.
- Learn our project management systems, reporting expectations, and quality standards.
- Begin partnering with field consultants on active projects while building relationships with your assigned clients.
- Understand the strengths, development opportunities, and goals of any direct reports.
By 60 Days
- Independently manage multiple industrial hygiene projects while providing an exceptional client experience.
- Begin coaching Project Managers and Industrial Hygiene Consultants through technical and project-related challenges.
- Develop confidence balancing technical work, project leadership, and people leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve project execution, communication, or team effectiveness.
By 90 Days
- Lead projects confidently from kickoff through final deliverables while consistently following SevenGen's Proven Process.
- Be recognized as a trusted partner by clients and a dependable leader by your team.
- Successfully coach and develop your direct reports through regular feedback, accountability, and support.
- Contribute to strengthening our Industrial Hygiene practice through collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring
Experience:
- 5+ years of industrial hygiene consulting or related occupational health experience.
- Previous experience leading projects and coaching or supervising technical professionals.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist designation (required)
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of industrial hygiene principles, OSHA regulations, and ACGIH guidance.
- Experience conducting complex exposure assessments and evaluating occupational health risks.
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while balancing technical quality, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
