El Dorado Broadcasters is looking for motivated, outgoing, and driven individuals to join our advertising sales team serving the Victor Valley, California.
Radio is local. Our stations connect businesses with thousands of listeners throughout the High Desert every day, and our sales team is at the center of those relationships.
As an Advertising Sales Representative, you'll work directly with local business owners and decision-makers to help them grow their businesses through creative radio and digital advertising campaigns.
No radio or media sales experience? That's okay. We're looking for people who are comfortable talking to others, willing to learn, motivated to succeed, and excited about building a career where their effort can directly impact their income.
We'll teach you the advertising side. You bring the energy, personality, and drive.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop relationships with businesses throughout the Victor Valley and surrounding High Desert communities
- Meet face-to-face with local business owners, managers, and marketing decision-makers
- Learn about each client's business, customers, goals, and challenges
- Develop creative radio and digital advertising solutions tailored to each client
- Present advertising ideas, promotions, sponsorships, and marketing campaigns
- Build and maintain your own book of business and long-term client relationships
- Follow up with prospects and existing advertisers to identify new opportunities
- Work with our on-air, production, promotions, and management teams to bring advertising campaigns to life
- Participate in station promotions, community events, client activities, and special events
- Track sales activity, prospects, proposals, and results
