Full Job Description

We're a family-owned business that has proudly served the design and construction industry for over 50 years. Although we're a small team, we're passionate about what we do and work hard every day to build our reputation and showcase our tile.

Our reach extends far beyond our local market. We've built long-standing partnerships with nationally recognized interior designers whose projects span the United States and the Caribbean. Our portfolio includes everything from large-scale commercial developments to luxury custom residences.

We're looking for an ambitious, relationship-driven professional to help expand our presence in the Malibu, Conejo and San Fernando Valley markets while using our Agoura showroom as their home base. This is an opportunity to represent a respected, established brand with a strong reputation for quality, design, and customer service.

This is a new, full-time/40 hour a week, salaried position based out of our Agoura showroom. You will cover both the Ventura and the Western side of the LA market. Candidates should live within commutable distance to our new Agoura showroom on a daily basis. This position will focus heavily on outdoor materials for landscape and pool use. Fifty percent of your time will be spent in the Agoura Showroom. The other fifty percent will be spent prospecting designers and architects in the area. We provide a budget for Lunch and Learns and PKs, and a sales support team for sampling and quoting.

We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for design and building materials and loves to establish relationships with trade customers.

The base salary for this position is 65K-75K with uncapped bonus potential based on sales quotas and measurable metrics. We provide mileage reimbursement and a competitive benefits package.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

3-5 years of related sales experience preferably in the interior design, construction, or building materials industry. Knowledge of tile and stone is required.
A passion for design and a knowledge and appreciation of the top designers and contractors in the market.
Excellent English communication skills and a desire to present in front of groups.
Computer savvy with an ability to learn new software.
An understanding of design and building materials and drive to learn our extensive product offerings.
An outgoing, positive attitude.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
