About This Job

As a Male Advanced Practice Provider - Nurse Practitioner (NP) on our team, you deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, ensuring comprehensive health management. You collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, contributing to positive patient outcomes and advancing our commitment to excellent healthcare. This position empowers you to make significant clinical decisions and directly impact the well-being of our community.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Performs comprehensive patient assessment, evaluating health status, medical history, and current symptoms to form a complete clinical picture.
Develops and implements diagnosis and treatment planning, creating individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices and patient needs.
Prescribes medications and other therapeutic interventions, carefully considering patient conditions, potential interactions, and desired outcomes.
Utilizes Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems efficiently for accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters, orders, and communications.
Conducts thorough physical examinations, identifying abnormalities and gathering essential diagnostic information.
Provides comprehensive patient education, explaining diagnoses, treatment options, medication use, and preventative care strategies to patients and their families.
Engages in interdisciplinary collaboration, working effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and achieve shared patient goals.
Maintains meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring all patient records are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Applies advanced pharmacology knowledge to manage complex medication regimens and optimize therapeutic effects.
Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and applies these skills in emergency situations to stabilize patients.

Required Qualifications

Education

Holds a Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Possesses current Nurse Practitioner certification from a recognized national certifying body.

Experience

Demonstrates relevant clinical experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner.

Knowledge/Skills

Applies expert knowledge in patient assessment techniques.
Excels in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Possesses strong clinical judgment for prescribing medications.
Proficiently utilizes Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Performs skilled physical examinations.
Delivers effective patient education.
