Overview

Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Store Manager and lead the charge in creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers while driving store success. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations, motivate and develop your team, manage inventory, and ensure that sales goals are met with enthusiasm. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and outstanding customer service. Duties

Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service initiatives.
Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees to build a high-performing retail team aligned with company standards.
Manage employee orientation and ongoing training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products, POS systems, and customer engagement techniques.
Oversee scheduling, shift management, payroll processing, and bookkeeping to maintain operational efficiency.
Implement effective inventory control practices, including purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and stock rotation to maximize sales.
Handle cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and POS system management accurately and securely.
Develop marketing strategies to promote store products and special offers while ensuring visual merchandising standards are maintained.
Monitor sales performance metrics regularly; analyze retail math data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Maintain excellent communication with staff through managerial communication skills; foster teamwork through leadership and motivation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and operational procedures while managing budgets effectively.

Skills

Proven management experience within the retail industry with a strong background in sales team leadership and store operations.
Excellent negotiation skills coupled with the ability to recruit top talent through effective interviewing techniques.
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Strong organizational skills with proficiency in inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail math calculations.
Demonstrated expertise in employee orientation, training & development programs, and supervising staff performance.
Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping practices, budgeting, and operational management principles.
Exceptional customer service skills along with phone etiquette to enhance client satisfaction.
Experience in merchandising, marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently through excellent time management skills; adaptable to shift changes as needed.
Basic math skills essential for cash handling accuracy; familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store experience is a plus.
