Full Job Description

Are you passionate about hands-on technology and delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a Desktop Support Field Technician to be the go-to IT resource for end users at our client site. In this role, you'll manage everything from hardware and software troubleshooting to device lifecycle support, ensuring employees stay productive and their technology runs smoothly. If you enjoy solving problems, working directly with people, and being the face of IT support, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities

Manage desktop device (hardware, software, and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
Manage IMAC and deskside support services.
Manage hard and soft break/fix services for laptops and desktops.
Provide standard and approved hardware and software (operating systems and standard office applications) support and maintenance for desktop devices (Field Users) throughout their entire lifecycle, including remote management of desktop devices using appropriate tools.
Support, manage, optimize, and maintain the configuration and installation of desktops, including but not limited to patch updates and hardware replacements, using spares provided by the vendor.
Analyze Service Desk calls for desktop devices and incident data to identify and advise customers of any potential user training requirements and automation opportunities.
Ensure that each desktop device is installed with the appropriate desktop image.
Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
Provide VIP support for deskside issues per contract, and serve as the on-site point of contact for all IT-related issues when no other IT support team is available (e.g., for MI calls).

Requirements

Excellent spoken and written English. Will report to non-Spanish speakers and must document work in English.
Good to have: knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and smart hands and feet support.
Good to have: knowledge and experience supporting MAC devices and tablets.
Experience with a service management tool (e.g., ServiceNow).
Strong expertise in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
Good understanding of Lync, VPN, and mobile device support preferred.
Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request) and related activities such as spare and buffer stock management.
Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a three-year college or technical school with an emphasis in electronics required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Aibonito, PR 00705: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
