DRT Performance Tix
Help Us Build a Great Place to Work—and Grow
DRT Performance Tix is looking for a People & Culture Manager who believes great workplaces are built intentionally.
We're seeking an experienced HR generalist who can manage the fundamentals of Human Resources while bringing something more to the role: a genuine interest in developing people, supporting managers, strengthening culture, and helping employees grow professionally.
This is a hands-on manager-level position for someone who enjoys being both an HR resource and a people developer. You'll support employees throughout their experience with DRT, partner with managers as they lead their teams, and help us create the structure, education, and development opportunities that allow people to do their best work.
If you're someone who can move comfortably between an employee relations conversation, an onboarding improvement, a manager coaching session, and developing a new employee learning initiative, we'd like to meet you.
What You'll Do
Manage the HR Fundamentals
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day HR needs of the organization, including:
· Employee onboarding and offboarding
· Employee records and HR documentation
· Benefits administration and employee questions
· HR policies and employee handbook updates
· Recruiting and hiring support
· Performance management and documentation
· Employee relations
· Leave and attendance administration
· HR systems and recordkeeping
· Supporting compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies
Help Strengthen Our Culture
At DRT, we believe culture is more than company events and employee perks. It's reflected in how we communicate, collaborate, solve problems, recognize great work, and hold ourselves accountable.
· Facilitate employee engagement and culture initiatives
· Coordinate employee recognition programs
· Reinforce company values and workplace expectations
· Identify opportunities to improve communication and collaboration
· Gather and respond to employee feedback
· Help employees understand how their work contributes to the larger organization
· Partner with managers when team dynamics need additional attention or support
Help Employees Understand the Workplace
The workplace has changed, and employees have access to more workplace information and opinions than ever before. We believe employers have a responsibility to provide employees with accurate, practical, and transparent information about what they can expect from their employer—and what their employer can appropriately expect from them.
You'll help develop employee education around topics such as:
· Professional communication
· Employer and employee responsibilities
· Workplace policies and expectations
· Accountability and reliability
· Giving and receiving feedback
· Conflict resolution
· Professional boundaries
· Working effectively with managers and coworkers
· Career development and professional growth
· Evaluating generalized workplace advice and social media information within the context of an employee's actual workplace
Our goal isn't simply to tell employees what the rules are. We want employees to understand why expectations exist and how to successfully navigate the professional workplace.
Build Learning & Professional Development
We want employees to be able to see how they can grow at DRT. You'll partner with our managers to:
· Create role-specific training syllabi and learning plans
· Establish development expectations for different roles and levels
· Track employee training and continuing education
· Identify skills gaps and development opportunities
· Coordinate internal and external learning opportunities
· Support professional development and career conversations
· Maintain learning and development records
· Help ensure training remains current as our company, technology, and processes evolve
Managers will remain responsible for developing the technical and operational capabilities of their teams. You'll help provide the framework, tools, accountability, and tracking that make employee development more intentional and consistent across DRT.
Help Managers Become Better People Leaders
Our managers shouldn't have to figure out people management on their own. You'll serve as a trusted resource by helping managers:
· Navigate employee relations and performance concerns
· Prepare for coaching and difficult conversations
· Set and communicate clear expectations
· Document employee development and performance
· Identify training and continuing education needs
· Apply policies consistently
· Strengthen their skills in feedback, accountability, communication, documentation, and employee development
You won't manage employees for our managers. You'll help our managers become better at managing and developing their own teams.
Who We're Looking For
· An experienced HR generalist who enjoys the people side of HR
· Approachable while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
· Comfortable balancing employee support with accountability
· A strong communicator who can make policies and expectations understandable
· Organized and capable of building repeatable processes
· Fair, objective, and consistent
· Comfortable facilitating training and group discussions
· Confident navigating difficult or sensitive conversations
· A natural teacher, coach, or facilitator
· Collaborative and comfortable working closely with managers
· Interested in employee development, organizational culture, and continuous improvement
· Someone who sees HR as both an operational function and an opportunity to make the workplace better
What You'll Bring
· 3–5+ years of progressive HR generalist, People Operations, or similar experience
· Working knowledge of HR practices and employment compliance
· Experience supporting managers with employee relations and performance management
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organization, follow-through, and documentation skills
· Experience facilitating employee or manager training is preferred
· Experience with HRIS, learning management, or performance management systems is preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred
· SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
What Success Looks Like
You'll know you're succeeding when employees understand what is expected of them and where to go for answers; managers feel better equipped to lead and develop their teams; professional development becomes more structured and measurable; HR processes are organized and dependable; and DRT's culture remains strong as the company continues to evolve.
Why DRT?
This is an opportunity to join a company that wants HR to be more than policies, paperwork, and problem-solving.
We want People & Culture to help create an environment where employees are supported, managers are equipped to lead, expectations are clear, accountability is healthy, and professional growth is encouraged.
You'll have an opportunity to help us continue building that environment—and to see the impact of your work throughout the organization.
If you're an HR professional who loves developing people as much as you enjoy building good HR practices, we'd love to hear from you.
