Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead the HR functions of a rapidly growing dental practice located in Fairlawn. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and organizational development. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment laws, and support the practice’s growth objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape HR strategies within a thriving healthcare environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with employment and labor law requirements, including FMLA and OSHA standards.
Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates to support practice expansion.
Oversee employee orientation programs, performance management processes, and employee evaluation systems to promote professional development.
Manage benefits administration, payroll processing through platforms such as ADP and workers' compensation claims to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Facilitate training and development initiatives aimed at enhancing staff skills, leadership capabilities, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Handle employee relations issues with tact and professionalism, including conflict management and disciplinary actions.
Drive organizational design improvements and process enhancements using data analysis skills and HRIS systems.
Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, succession planning, change management, and program management efforts to support long-term growth.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, OSHA standards, and HR compliance practices.
Proven experience in supervising HR teams and managing complex human capital initiatives within a healthcare or dental setting.
Strong negotiation skills for contract review, vendor management, and resolving employee disputes effectively.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with staff at all levels and delivering compelling presentations on HR topics.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in budgeting, process improvement, and program management.
