Job Purpose

Owns the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Salesforce.com capabilities across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable business value. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance) and IT delivery teams, translating business needs into scalable, well-governed Salesforce solutions.

Responsible for optimizing Salesforce as a core system within the broader enterprise application landscape (ERP, data platforms, integrations), ensuring data integrity, process standardization, and continuous improvement.

Key Job Elements

Duties and responsibilities (Note: duties/qualifications required will depend on assigned division)

Define and own the Salesforce product roadmap, aligning with enterprise IT strategy and business priorities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements into clear product features and user stories
Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce enhancements, integrations, and releases in coordination with development and support teams
Ensure Salesforce solutions align with enterprise architecture, including ERP (LNCE, D365), data platforms, and integration standards
Drive process standardization and simplification across Sales, Service, and related business functions
Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related initiatives, issues, and vendor engagement
Own backlog management, sprint planning input, and release prioritization
Establish and enforce governance, security, and data quality standards within Salesforce
Monitor system performance, adoption, and usage; identify opportunities for optimization
Collaborate with analytics teams to define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting capabilities
Lead user enablement efforts including training, communication, and change management
Ensure compliance with SOX, IT controls, and company policies
Drive continuous improvement and innovation leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, integrations, etc.)

Education / Training

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
5–10+ years of experience in IT, product management, or enterprise application delivery
3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce.com (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or similar)

Qualifications and Experience

Experience working in complex enterprise environments with integrations to ERP systems (LNCE, D365, SAP, etc.)
Strong understanding of product management disciplines (road mapping, backlog management, Agile delivery)
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Knowledge of data governance, security models, and system integrations (APIs, middleware)
Salesforce certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Product Owner-related certifications)
Experience working with third-party implementation partners and vendors

Skills & Competencies

Strong business acumen with ability to connect technology to business outcomes
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (executive to end-user)
Proven leadership in cross-functional environments without direct authority
Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple initiatives
Analytical mindset with focus on metrics, adoption, and value realization
Highly self-motivated with a sense of urgency and ownership
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Essential and Physical Activities Functions

Strength – Position typically involves work in a standard office environment. Occasional standing and walking. Occasional light to medium lifting;
Motion – Position regularly requires standard repetitive motions and hand/eye coordination associated with office communications. Constant sitting, frequent walking, occasional standing;
Vision/Hearing Requirements – Constant verbal communications, including both talking and hearing;
Work Environment – Position is consistent with standard office environment;
Emotional Demands – High level of responsibility; high sense of urgency. Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple issues simultaneously. Requires ability to coordinate work of a team to accomplish mission success;
