About us

The Law Office of Lorena Ibarra is an immigration law firm in Hoover, AL serving clients all over the country. We are professional and dedicated to giving our client excellent customer service while providing legal representation in immigration matters.

We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering and forwarding phone calls, providing general information about the company, and other administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and has excellent customer service skills. We are looking for someone who is able to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
Maintain records of visitors, calls, and other activities.
Provide administrative support to staff members.
Assist with filing, copying, scanning, and other office tasks.

Key Qualifications

Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written communication required)
Strong typing skills (45–60 WPM) with attention to accuracy
Excellent customer service and professional front-desk presence
Ability to multitask and manage a busy reception area
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency with computers, email, and basic office software
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Prior experience in a legal or immigration office preferred but not required
