Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Expo/Food Runner/Server, where your energy and hospitality skills will shine! In this vibrant role, you’ll be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with a smile. You’ll assist in food preparation, support servers with guest needs, and help maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment committed to excellence.

Duties

Expedite food orders from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling beverages, and attending to guest requests with enthusiasm
Support food preparation and plating to uphold quality standards and presentation
Handle food handling responsibilities safely and efficiently, adhering to food safety protocols
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments
Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods
Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers professionally and courteously

Skills

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling and safety practices
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
Experience in banquet service, catering, or hotel hospitality is a plus
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
Customer-focused attitude with excellent guest service skills
Basic cooking skills and experience in culinary settings enhance your versatility in this role
