Compensation range is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunities.
Compensation is determined based on a candidate’s experience, leadership background, restaurant knowledge, and overall qualifications.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The General Manager is the leader of the restaurant.
You are responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every Guest while building an engaging workplace where Team Members love coming to work.
You set the standard for culture, hospitality, operational excellence, and financial performance.
By developing great leaders, coaching your team, and executing at a high level every day, you create a restaurant that consistently delivers outstanding results while living the Surcheros Purpose and FRESH Core Values.

Lead People

- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top talent.
- Develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members into future leaders.

Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

Champion genuine hospitality and create memorable Guest experiences.
- Maintain outstanding standards for food quality, cleanliness, speed, and accuracy.

Drive Restaurant Operations

Lead all daily restaurant operations.
- Maintain excellence in food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
- Ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and shift execution.
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and restaurant appearance.
- Lead by example by working alongside your team during all dayparts.
Own the Business
Take ownership of your restaurant as if it were your own.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
The General Manager must regularly:

Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Bend, kneel, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
- Work in varying temperatures, including kitchen and walk-in cooler/freezer environments
- Safely operate restaurant equipment
- Communicate effectively with Guests and Team Members throughout each shift

2–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in Fast Casual or Quick Service
- Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams
- Experience with hiring, scheduling, coaching, and performance management
- Strong understanding of restaurant financials including labor, food cost, and P&L management
- Food Safety/ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Proficient with restaurant technology and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings or training
