Rise Above Therapy · Uptown Albuquerque, NM · In-person · Part-time · $20/hour

Part-time to start (Mon–Wed; 8-6), with strong potential to grow into a full-time role over time.

About Us

Rise Above Therapy is a growing outpatient mental health group practice serving children, teens, families, and adults across our community. We're a warm, supportive, fast-growing team, and we care as much about our staff as we do about our clients. As we've grown, our front office has gotten busier — and we're looking for a friendly, dependable person to be the welcoming face of our practice and keep the front desk running smoothly.

The Role

This is a front-of-house, in-person role at our Uptown Albuquerque office, focused on greeting clients and managing the phones during our busiest stretches. You'll be the first person clients see when they walk in and the first voice they hear when they call. Your work directly supports our admin team and clinicians so the whole practice runs calmly and on time.

We're hiring this position as part-time to start, but our practice is growing quickly — and for the right person, this role can grow into more hours and, over time, a full-time position.

This is not a billing or back-office role — our senior admin team handles that. Your focus is reception, phones, and creating a warm, organized front-desk experience.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break (27 hours/week).
Fully in-person at our Uptown Albuquerque office.
We bring this role on at a steady, manageable pace with training up front — and there's strong potential to grow into more hours or a full-time position as our practice continues to expand.

What You'll Do

Warmly greet clients and visitors as they arrive, check them in, and direct them to the waiting area
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls; take clear messages and follow up as needed
Keep the front desk and waiting area welcoming, tidy, and organized
Support families and children in the lobby with patience and care
Sign for packages and mail, and handle general front-of-house tasks
Provide light administrative support to our admin team to help the day flow smoothly
Maintain strict client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times

What We're Looking For

A friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming presence
Strong communication skills, both on the phone and in person
The ability to stay calm and organized when the phones are ringing and clients are arriving at the same time
Reliability and punctuality — we count on this person to be here for our team and clients
Comfort working with a wide range of people, including children and families
Discretion and respect for confidentiality
Basic computer skills and comfort learning scheduling/office software

Must Have

Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk coordinator, or administrative assistant
Experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or medical office setting
Familiarity with electronic health records or practice management software
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Compensation & Benefits

$20.00 per hour
