Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic mental health team as a dedicated contract Mental Health Therapist, where you will play a vital role in providing therapy to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize the evidence-based psychotherapy practices you have been trained in to empower clients on their journey toward mental wellness. Our commitment is to deliver compassionate, ethical, and effective care in a supportive environment that values your expertise and growth. We cater to clinicians who want the security and risk management associated with working in a group practice but who also want the ability to make their own schedule, work with their preferred types of clients, and the opportunity to work from their own home or office.

Duties

Provide individual outpatient counseling sessions to the types of clients you'd like to see, from your personal office setting.
Independently manage your schedule to best meet your needs and the needs of your clients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices.
Document treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards using Theranest EHR.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field; licensure as required by New Mexico law (e.g., LCSW, LPCC, LMFT).
Proven experience providing psychotherapy with children, adolescents, or adults.
Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities and CPT coding.
Familiarity with DSM coding, mental health terminology, clinical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
Experience working with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems for efficient patient care documentation.
Excellent communication skills for client engagement.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining ethical standards aligned with clinical guidelines.
