Job Summary

Join Our Team!

SanRo Clinical Research Group is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join our growing inpatient clinical research team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of participants enrolled in clinical research studies.

Responsibilities

Monitor research participants throughout assigned shifts.
Ensure participant safety and report any changes in condition.
Obtain and document vital signs as delegated.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Engage participants in therapeutic and recreational activities.
Assist with participant meals and non-clinical needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe unit environment.
Follow study protocols, company policies, and HIPAA requirements.
Communicate effectively with Clinical Research Coordinators and management.
Participate in required training and staff meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience with medical documentation is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques
Experience in diverse clinical environments including ICU, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, or post-acute care is advantageous
Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and efficiently
Skilled in medication administration and catheter care procedures
Compassionate caregiving skills tailored to patients with dementia or developmental disabilities
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
This position is integral to delivering comprehensive patient-centered care across multiple healthcare settings. Candidates should demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and a dedication to improving patient outcomes through compassionate service.

Schedule Requirements

Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts, including:

7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
12:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Weekends and holidays, as needed.
