Full Job Description

Get Fit Studio is located in historic Old Town Alexandria and we are looking to grow our team! We need to recruit more talent and cater to our clients' fitness staffing needs.

We need a well-experienced trainer, familiar with all components of fitness with a minimum of 2 years of personal training experience.

* No sales quotas

* train 35+ hours per week

* we offer on-the-job paid mentoring.

* we also offer medical, vision and dental insurance if maintaining minimum of 30 hours/week.

COMMUNITY is very important to us so we need a caring and personable trainer who enjoys being around people all day!

Responsibilities:

Develop and progress customized personal training programs for each client
Design work-out programs for all fitness levels in a group setting
Must be able to provide modifications on the fly
Communicate in a timely manner via text, email, or phone with teammates and clients
Motivate and support clients throughout their fitness journeys in a positive and uplifting way
Train clients early mornings, evenings, and weekends; split shifts may be required several times a week
Maintain neatness within each training area

Qualifications:

Personal Training Certification (NCCA accredited organization) - no exceptions! Resumes with no certification listed will be rejected
Strength training required
Must be able to accommodate all physical conditions and adapt exercises in real-time
Have or must obtain CPR and AED certifications
Instructor experience preferred but not required
No sales experience is needed
Must be a team player and a good communicator
US Citizen
Traveling for home training is possible

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
