Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to support a broad range of HR functions with a strong emphasis on employee relations, workplace investigations, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive HR professional who can effectively manage sensitive employee matters, maintain confidentiality, and partner with leadership to promote a positive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations

Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns and workplace issues.
Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Assist in resolving employee conflicts, complaints, and workplace concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
Support performance management processes, corrective actions, and documentation.

Investigations

Conduct or assist with workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and other employment-related matters.
Gather, document, and analyze evidence, including witness interviews and relevant records.
Prepare investigation summaries, findings, and recommendations while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable employment laws.
Partner with management and legal counsel, as needed, on investigation-related matters.

Human Resources Administration

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Assist with onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
Support HR compliance initiatives and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Prepare reports, track HR metrics, and assist with audits.
Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters and workplace investigations.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.

Preferred

PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.
Experience in California employment law and investigations.
Experience supporting multi-site or diverse workforces.
