Summary:
As a key member of the Commercial Team, the Global Account Management Director will be responsible for customer growth and retention. This includes developing and strengthening the customer’s relationships, defining, and developing the strategic customer account strategy, and driving a unified customer strategy across Benchmark globally for Benchmark’s strategic and growth customers. The Director of Global Account Management will be Benchmark’s point of contact for customer satisfaction, customer health, financial performance, VOC, and customer escalation as required. Requires a prior background with an EMS/CM with an emphasis on PCBA.

Responsibilities:
Develop and own customer executive relationships as well as deep multi-level and multi-functional relationships at customer locations.
The Global Account Management Director understands key customer stakeholders and influencers and develops strategies to ensure effective relationships are in place for the partnership.
Determine key stakeholders and influencers for customer account sustainment and growth.
Orchestrates and develops customer account strategy to include strategic and technology roadmaps by working with Business Development, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure business growth and alignment with technology roadmaps, to deliver on overall account objectives and key customer initiatives.
Be the customer advocate and VOC on a strategic level to the internal organization serving as an escalation point, providing customer perception, strive towards customer satisfaction, problem resolution, and improve overall health of the customer relationship.
Understanding the customer’s business model and translating customer roadmap to Benchmark strategies
Coordinate with sector leadership, site leadership globally, and corporate legal on the administration and negotiation process for contracts with customer, include Supply Agreements, Amendments/Addendums, and NDAs.
Monitor sector/customer P&L targets and ensure customer contract terms are met.
Participate in site level Customer Quarterly Business Reviews.
Orchestrate Executive Business Reviews.

Other information:
Education / Experience:
Experienced as an Account Manager or Business Development leadership role responsible for +$25M in business development with a track record of driving above industry average revenue and margin growth.
The ideal candidate possesses +5 years of progressively advancing Business Development, Account Management and/or client centric.
Possesses excellent organizational, time management, team building, verbal, and written communication skills.
Strong experience with technology or manufacturing sales with increasing levels of responsibility.
Experienced defining, setting, and leading the execution of strategic account specific business development plans to achieve quarterly and annual employer financial objectives.
Documented track record of success and overachievement.
Experience working with senior leadership within a large business preferred.
Requirement of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences or business; MBA is preferred.

Skills
Solid experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Global Account Manager strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed environment.
Should demonstrate solid financial acumen.
Documented track record of success and overachievement.
Previous experience as a manager of a team or geographic area.
Excellent communication and professional demeanor, working alongside business executives, both internally and externally.

Work Environment:
This position is remote or can be located at any Benchmark US facility. We are seeking someone in the Mid-West/Central US
Position requires travel domestically and internationally, up to 25% of time.

Education: prefer a bachelor's degree, MBA a plus

Compensation Range: $147,231.00 to $180,000.00 USD . Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.

Benefits and Other Compensation: Benchmark provides a comprehensive benefits package, including a Bonus Plan, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, all based on scheduled hours. Benchmark complies with applicable state and local employee leave laws.
