Role Summary
The Senior Director, Insights Platform will support building and scaling the operating platform that powers FMG Leading’s proprietary insights capabilities as part of the broader enterprise platform. This role connects data, assessments, market intelligence, partner technologies, AI-enabled tools, and FMG Leading’s advisory expertise into practical workflows, outputs, and client-facing solutions that help leaders make better decisions and translate insights into measurable business outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on platform builder and operator role for someone who can move priority capabilities from concept into execution. The Insights Platform will operate as an integrated part of FMG Leading’s broader enterprise platform and will be informed by the firm’s advisory strategy, market priorities, commercial insight, and enterprise operating requirements. This role will bridge strategy and execution while maintaining clear boundaries among commercial input, advisory methodology, enterprise operations, and platform execution. The Senior Director will collaborate closely with EAS leadership, the CSO, consulting and commercial leaders, Enterprise Operations, IT/BIS, and external technology partners to create structure around how FMG Leading captures, governs, integrates, and applies its insights assets.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical fluency, commercial context, business judgment, and advisory orientation. They should be comfortable translating business and advisory needs into data architecture, platform requirements, partner deliverables, governance practices, and scalable operating models. Over time, this role has potential to evolve into broader leadership of FMG Leading's insights platform and related technology-enabled advisory capabilities.

- Ensure insights assets are scalable, trusted, governed, and harmonized with the broader enterprise platform, systems, and operating standards.
3. Technology Partner Ecosystem
Coordinate FMG Leading's network of technology and insights partners so external capabilities become integrated, practical, and usable across the platform.

- Build alignment, remove obstacles, and help teams adopt platform-enabled ways of working.
Success Profile: Outcomes & Behaviors
The successful candidate will be a platform-minded operator and builder at the Senior Director level who bridges strategy and execution and carries broad oversight and accountability for operationalizing FMG Leading's Insights Platform. This leader will collaborate closely with advisory, commercial, technology, and operating partners while maintaining decision authority over platform execution, partner coordination, data and technology requirements, and the operating mechanisms necessary to move priorities forward. This person does not need to be the deepest technical coder, nor a traditional analytics/reporting leader, but must have enough technical fluency to translate business and advisory needs into data architecture, platform requirements, partner deliverables, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable operating models.
Success in this role will be defined by the ability to move the insights platform from a set of related capabilities into a coordinated operating platform that is trusted, usable, and valuable to client-facing teams.
The successful candidate will consistently demonstrate:
- Advisory orientation: Understands that FMG's value comes from proprietary data paired with senior-level judgment, not technology alone.
- Architect-first thinking: Connects data, technology, people, process, and advisory work before rushing to sell or scale.
- Technical fluency: Engages credibly with technology partners, IT/BIS, data resources, and advisory leaders.
- Hands-on ownership: Builds, documents, coordinates, troubleshoots, and drives work forward.
- Operational orchestration: Creates clarity across stakeholders, partners, platforms, and workstreams.
- Change leadership: Educates, enables, and brings teams along as FMG shifts toward platform-enabled ways of working.
- Boundary clarity: Understands the respective roles of Commercial, EAS, Enterprise Operations, IT/BIS, and platform execution; establishes clear decision rights and effective working interfaces across them.
First 90 Days (illustrative)
· Day 30: Assess the current Insights Platform, partner ecosystem, data architecture, enterprise-system dependencies, workflows, stakeholder needs, and highest-priority opportunities; clarify decision rights and working interfaces across EAS, Commercial, Enterprise Operations, IT/BIS, and external partners.
· Day 60: Draft the initial Insights Platform roadmap, including data architecture, management and governance, partner orchestration, enterprise-platform harmonization, AI/knowledge management integration, and advisory enablement priorities.
· Day 90: Begin operationalizing the roadmap by advancing priority use cases, establishing recurring prioritization and partner-governance mechanisms, and launching initial enablement tools or playbooks for client-facing teams.
Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, information systems, analytics, technology management, organizational strategy, or a related field preferred.
· 10+ years of experience building or leading technology-enabled platforms, insights platforms, data strategy, analytics, AI enablement, knowledge management, or related functions.
· Experience operating at the intersection of advisory/client delivery, business strategy, data, technology, and enterprise operations, with the ability to partner across strategy-setting and execution-focused teams.
· Strong understanding of data architecture, data management, governance, integrations, APIs, platform design, and reporting/insights infrastructure.
· Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technology roadmaps, partner requirements, workflows, and scalable operating models.
· Experience leading external technology partners, vendors, or platform providers through cross-functional workstreams.
· Practical experience with AI enablement, automation, knowledge management transformation, or technology-enabled productivity improvements.
· Strong executive presence, business judgment, communication skills, and ability to simplify complexity into recommendations and action plans.
· Experience building technology-enabled platforms, data capabilities, or enterprise operating systems within complex organizations. Experience supporting consulting, professional services, or other client-service environments is preferred but not required.
