RN Administrator – Multi-Site Ambulatory Surgery Centers (Ennis & Dallas, TX)

RN Administrator – Multi-Site Ambulatory Surgery Centers (Ennis & Dallas, TX)

AdvancedCare Surgery Centers is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with proven surgery center administration and operational leadership experience in ASC. This is a senior leadership role for someone who has successfully run an ambulatory surgery center and understands both the clinical and operational realities of ASC management.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on healthcare leader with an active Texas RN license and a track record of managing ASC operations—someone who speaks the language of both clinical teams and business performance, and can drive excellence across two facilities simultaneously.

Position Summary

As Administrator, you will oversee operations across two ambulatory surgery centers in Ennis and Dallas, with full P&L accountability, regulatory compliance oversight, physician engagement, and strategic growth responsibility. You'll report directly to executive leadership and be responsible for ensuring both locations maintain high standards of operational efficiency, clinical quality, financial performance, staff leadership, and accreditation readiness.

The role requires comfort traveling regularly between locations (approximately 45–60 minutes apart) and a commitment to hands-on leadership that balances strategic vision with tactical execution.

Key ResponsibilitiesMulti-Site Operational Leadership

Oversee daily operations across both ASC locations and ensure consistent standards, processes, and performance.
Maintain operational visibility and drive accountability across clinical and administrative teams.

Regulatory Compliance and Accreditation

Maintain continuous survey readiness and ensure compliance with CMS, Texas DSHS, AAAHC, Joint Commission, and other applicable standards.
Lead preparation and execution of accreditation renewals and regulatory audits.

Financial and Business Management

Manage financial performance, budgeting, business operations, and full P&L accountability for both surgery centers.
Develop and execute budgets; monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.

Clinical Quality and Patient Safety

Partner with physicians and clinical leadership to maintain high standards of care, patient safety, infection prevention, and QAPI performance.
Ensure clinical compliance and safety culture across both sites.

Physician and Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as the main liaison between physicians, anesthesia providers, governing bodies, staff, and executive leadership.
Build and maintain strong physician relationships to support case volume and quality outcomes.

Staff Leadership and Development

Lead clinical and administrative teams across both sites while building a strong, unified, and accountable culture.
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teams.

Strategic Growth

Identify and support growth opportunities, improve case volume, and strengthen overall performance across both facilities.

Required Qualifications

Must have an active Texas RN license (clinical credibility and regulatory requirement)
Minimum 3 years of ASC administrator or director-level leadership experience
Demonstrated experience successfully running or co-managing an ambulatory surgery center in Texas
Full P&L ownership experience in an ASC setting
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
Extensive working knowledge of CMS Conditions for Coverage
Working knowledge of Texas DSHS ASC licensing requirements
Proven experience with AAAHC and/or Joint Commission accreditation processes
Demonstrated leadership of QAPI, infection prevention programs, and survey readiness
Strong physician engagement and stakeholder management skills
Ability to travel regularly between Ennis and Dallas locations

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing multiple ASC locations simultaneously
Prior experience in ASC business development or case volume growth
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Joint Commission or AAAHC accreditation leadership experience
