Senior Inside Sales Representative (Phone) — Services

This is a full‑time, inside phone sales role focused on selling our character visit services (not retail). You’ll convert inbound inquiries and warm leads, run discovery with parents and planners, advise on packages, and close bookings. The role is based on‑site in Auburn Hills, MI to start for hands‑on coaching and product immersion. After approximately 2–3 months—or once you’ve demonstrated superior knowledge of our products and services—we can entertain a partial or full at‑home option.

You’ll also generate sales leads, build relationships with clients (B2C and some B2B/corporate), maintain customer satisfaction, prepare sales reports, conduct light market research, and coordinate with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals.

What You’ll Do

Own the phone sales cycle: respond quickly to inquiries, qualify needs, present options, quote, and close.
Advise customers on characters, packages, add‑ons, timing, and pricing; set clear expectations.
Manage a disciplined follow‑up cadence in the CRM; nurture past clients and referrals.
Create and maintain accurate availability (performers, costumes, time slots); coordinate with operations.
Process payments/deposits and send confirmations; manage changes/cancellations per policy.
Track KPIs (response times, conversion rates, average order value) and report results.
Partner with marketing on scripts, promos, emails, and listings to drive qualified leads.
Provide exceptional service; resolve issues promptly to ensure 5‑star experiences.
(Nice to have) Prospect and close corporate/school/venue bookings to expand revenue channels.

Qualifications

Must‑Haves

Strong phone/inside sales experience selling services (full‑cycle from lead to close).
Proven success hitting and exceeding monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Excellent verbal communication, discovery, and objection‑handling skills.
Friendly, energetic, and professional with a customer‑first mindset.
Tech‑savvy with CRM and POS; organized and diligent with follow‑ups.
Ability to work under pressure and handle occasional customer complaints.
Flexible availability (some early evenings/weekends align with parent planning times).
High school diploma/equivalent.

Big Pluses

Corporate/event sales experience (HR, office managers, venues, schools).
Industry background in events, entertainment, hospitality, or party services.
Real enthusiasm for Disney/Marvel/DC and kids’ culture (we do not claim affiliation; we love the fandom and family fun).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Pay: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience and skills).
Hours: Full‑time; set schedule with some evening/weekend coverage.
Performance Growth: Opportunities for pay increases based on results and mastery.

Location & Work‑From‑Home Path

On‑site (Auburn Hills, MI) during training/ramp for the first 2–3 months.
Hybrid or Full WFH may be offered after you demonstrate superior knowledge of our products/services and consistent performance. (We’ll evaluate earlier if you ramp quickly.)
