Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site field operations across multiple project locations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on coordination with subcontractors, project managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
Lead, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel.
Enforce all company and OSHA safety policies; ensure a clean and safe jobsite.
Maintain project schedules and coordinate workflow to meet deadlines.
Conduct daily reports, documentation, and communication with the project management team.
Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
Participate in project meetings, site walkthroughs, and inspections.
Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively to keep projects moving forward.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent (commercial or industrial preferred).
OSHA 30 certification required.
Strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and scheduling.
Ability to read and interpret plans, blueprints, and technical documents.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Must be willing and able to travel nationwide for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in ground-up, remodel, or tenant improvement projects.
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, BuilderTrend, etc.).
First Aid/CPR certification.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
