Full Job Description

As a Field Service Manager your primary job is to oversee the operations of 10-15 aquatic facilities within your assigned area, maintain direct relations with representatives of the pool, and manage the staff at each Commercial facility. We are looking to discuss this role with qualified individuals looking for a long-term career in managing aquatic facilities for our customers. We are requiring prior pool or aquatics industry experience for this role at this time.

The candidate would take charge of delivering safe and award-winning customer service experience to all customers at each facility managed by the FSM. The candidate will be responsible for directly overseeing the success of the facilities. All pools will contain lifeguard staff, and the candidate would be responsible for overseeing and managing the schedule for (2) service technicians who you will work hand-in-hand with servicing your pools in your area. The FSM is responsible for hiring, day-to-day operations, as well as customer service and interfacing with the facility owners. Experience should be comparable, with certifications matching such experience such as CPO/AFO, as well as preferred to have a LG, LGI and preferably the desire to attain an LGIT certification from the Red Cross or comparable agencies in the future (company-paid). In the event Lifeguard certifications are not currently possessed, we will perform this with the successful candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor region budget; track expenses and revenues generated by the region; track daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly staffing attendance figures; and oversee the staff schedule for facilities within region
Meet with field team members to ensure each individual has what they need to succeed in their duties
Schedule the maintenance and use of each facility; review and inspect facilities and operations for safety hazards and other potential problems
Meet annual sales goals
Oversee daily operations of facilities including hiring, training, discipline, and evaluation of personnel; oversee customer service, standards, and facility maintenance in conjunction with the corporate office
Investigate and resolve complaints or inquiries from team members, patrons, and customers concerning the operations of the facility; deals appropriately with confrontational situations
Provide administrative support by answering questions, maintaining correspondence with other divisions or agencies; interface with customer and/or groups and actively polite the facility throughout the community through speaking assignments, test appearances, etc.
Perform related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and/or two years of management experience in aquatics, public recreation, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities on pool related operations
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must obtain, if not already posses, CPO, LGT, First Aid, and CPR Certification
Knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, spread sheets, and other recreation related computer software
Extensive knowledge of operation procedures of recreational facilities or other comparable facilities
General knowledge and background of aquatic programs
General knowledge of business, management, finance, and accounting
General knowledge and experience in planning, prioritizing, and organizing a complex workload
Excellent public relation skills and communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Flexibility in schedule to work late days and weekends
