Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for members of the Division of Developmental Disabilities while ensuring their safety and well-being. This role involves working closely with members in their homes and in the community

Duties

Support individuals with daily living needs such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication.
Encourage community engagement by accompanying individuals to activities, appointments, and social outings.
Promote independence by teaching new skills and celebrating achievements.
Keep accurate records of daily progress and activities.
Create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members to provide the best care possible.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Dependability, strong communication, and teamwork skills.
Must be 18+ years old (21+ with valid AZ driver’s license for driving roles).
Ability to pass a background check, fingerprint clearance, and required trainings.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
