Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Upholstery restoration specialist to join our vibrant manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality upholstered furniture pieces, recreating restaurant booths, replacing panels in automotive & boat seats, headliner replacements, custom hot rod benches, bucket seats by expertly sewing and assembling leather, vinyl and material components. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to delivering beautiful, durable, and comfortable products that meet our standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your sewing expertise in a dynamic environment where quality and precision are paramount.

Duties

Operate sewing machines to stitch upholstery fabric, foam, and other materials with accuracy and efficiency
Cut, measure, and prepare fabric and materials according to specified patterns and dimensions
Assemble upholstery components by sewing seams, attaching trims, and finishing edges to ensure a polished look
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all pieces meet quality standards before packaging
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high craftsmanship standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing or warehouse environment
Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for tools and materials used in upholstery work

Skills

Proven experience in furniture construction or upholstery sewing with a strong attention to detail
Proficiency in operating various sewing machines, including industrial models
Skilled in sewing techniques such as stitching, hemming, and attaching trims or fasteners, french seams, top stitches, cross stitching patterns and more
Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to furniture or textile production, automotive & marine
Ability to interpret patterns, measurements, and technical instructions accurately
Previous warehouse or production floor experience is a plus for understanding workflow dynamics
Strong manual dexterity combined with excellent time management skills
