Full Job Description

Job Summary:

Industrial Solutions & Innovation (ISI) is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. This entry-to-mid-level position is responsible for pursuing inbound leads generated by marketing efforts as well as qualifying and searching for potential clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling both sales development and customer service responsibilities, ensuring client satisfaction while driving revenue growth. This is an in-office, full-time position (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST), with primary responsibilities focused on phone-based sales efforts, lead generation, and customer relationship management. The role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills, along with strong proficiency in CRM systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform activities directly related to the promotion or introduction of ISI products and services
Serve in an Inside Sales role, responding to client inquiries regarding new solutions, consumables, and on-going needs.
Pursue and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns while actively identifying new potential clients.
Promote and demonstrate ISI’s equipment lines to potential and existing customers.
Develop and maintain relationships with current clients while seeking opportunities for additional sales and product expansions.
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
Proactively pursue new leads and generate sales by identifying customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations, both online and in-person, with prospective clients.
Participate in regional and national trade shows, representing ISI’s offerings and networking with industry professionals.
Continuously develop product knowledge and understand the applications of ISI’s equipment within key industry sectors.
Handle incoming and outgoing sales calls, prospect for new clients, and follow up on past sales inquiries and quotations.
Occasionally travel for rare overnight trips, as required by management.
Generate quotes for existing and prospective clients as requested by the outside sales team, sales manager, or company management.
Assist in quoting prices, providing credit terms.
Maintain and update customer records in ISI’s CRM system.
Other duties as assigned by management to support sales and customer engagement efforts.

Qualifications & Requirements

1-5 years of experience in inside sales and lead generation (preferred).
Previous experience is preferable but not required. Experience and documented success in this field and the industrial market space will be viewed as equivalent to experience.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls to customers and prospects.
Strong computer skills, including email communication, Microsoft Office, and CRM experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Strong multi-tasking, detail orientation, and time management skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive approach to achieving performance goals.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must wear PPE and comply with all safety policies and procedures
