Full Job Description

Company Description

OneFiltr is a deep-tech startup founded to commercialize breakthrough wideband RF filter technology from the University of Pennsylvania. Our mission is to simplify RF front-end architectures while enabling adaptive wireless systems that are smaller, more efficient, and more capable than existing solutions.

Backed by an experienced team of researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs, OneFiltr is addressing multi-billion-dollar opportunities across defense electronics, satellite communications, aerospace, and wireless infrastructure.

Role Description

This is a flexible, remote-friendly role focused on commercializing a disruptive hardware technology.

Responsibilities include:

Conducting customer discovery and voice-of-customer interviews
Identifying high-value market opportunities and applications
Developing and validating value propositions
Building relationships with defense primes, system integrators, and commercial partners
Creating commercialization and go-to-market strategies
Supporting fundraising efforts and investor engagement
Helping shape product strategy based on market feedback

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in one or more of the following industries: telecommunications, satellite communications, aerospace, defense, or RF/microwave systems.
Demonstrated experience in business development, product management, or strategic partnerships within RF, microwave, wireless communications, or other hardware component companies.

Preferred Qualifications

Direct experience in the satellite communications (SATCOM) industry.
Experience in telecommunications infrastructure, wireless communications, or RF systems.
Experience working with U.S. defense programs, government agencies, or prime contractors (e.g., DoD, NASA, DARPA, SDA, Space Force).
Demonstrated track record of raising capital, managing investor relationships, or helping scale a venture-backed startup.
Experience commercializing university-developed technologies or other deep-tech hardware innovations.
Understanding of hardware product development and manufacturing, including transitioning products from prototype through qualification and volume production.
Existing network of industry contacts across aerospace, defense, satellite communications, or telecommunications markets is highly desirable.

Engagement Details

12-month engagement with potential for a long-term leadership role
Open to full-time or part-time candidates
Remote-friendly with occasional travel
Direct collaboration with founders, technical leadership, customers, and investors
