Machinist I – Lathe Operator

POSITION TITLE: Machinist I (Lathe Operator) FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Ambridge, PA DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing.

SUPERVISED BY: Working Shop Supervisor - Machining

Work shifts- 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM OR 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, weekends OT

We specialize in supplying parts and services for rolling mills and strip processors and provide a wide range of mechanical and electrical components for ANDRITZ equipment, as well as for many other brands in the industry.

The Role

Under the direction of the Working Shop Supervisor, the Machinist I (Lathe Operator) is responsible.

for Initiating machining processes, tool selections, feeds, and speeds for a variety of materials.

▪ Performs set-ups and operate Manual Lathe Machine.

Education and Experience

▪ High school diploma or equivalent.

▪ 1 year of machine shop experience.
